The Winter Olympic Games put on their boots

February 2026 will see the start of the Winter Games in Italy, from February 6 to 22. The opening ceremony will take place in the legendary Stadio San Siro, and the Games will close in an equally emblematic venue the Arena in Verona.

The Games will be held in several cities in northern Italy : Milan and Cortina are the host cities, as are Antersalva, Val di Fiemme, Valtellina and Verona.

VPI is already active in the run-up to the competition to secure the best accommodation and transport solutions for its customers.

Here is the list of venues for each city :

Milan will host the Ice Hockey and Para Hockey, Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating events.

Cortina will host Alpine Skiing, Para Alpine Skiing, Para Snowboarding, Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Luge, Curling and Para Curling.

Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding and Ski Mountaineering will take place in Valtellina, while Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Cross-Country Skiing and Para Biathlon will be held in Val di Fiemme. The town of Antersalva will host the Biathlon event.

Finally, the closing ceremony of the Winter Games will take place in Verona.
