VPI in Olympic Form The Paris 2024 Games made history by breaking the record for tickets sold, with a total of 12 million spectators. This massive influx significantly complicated the logistics of accommodation and transportation within the capital. VPI leveraged its expertise to offer tailored services for this large-scale event. From July 26 to September 8, VPI supported sports event professionals (teams, federations, sports institutions, media, and technical service providers) in managing their event logistics. Management of a sports performance center: Sourcing, setup, and management of a 3,500 m² sports performance center close to the Olympic Village. Accommodation: Management of over 35,000 nights stays near strategic locations (IBC, competition sites, and base camps). Team management: Privatization and management of 5 residences for the accommodation and catering of athletes. Mobility: Coordination of accredited drivers with or without vehicles. Implementation and coordination of a fleet of electric bikes, saving 1.2 tons of CO2, thereby contributing to the goal of reducing the carbon footprint of the Paris 2024. The Paris 2024 Games highlighted VPI’s expertise and adaptability during large-scale global events. By taking on bold challenges, VPI played its part in the Olympic effort, solidifying its key role in the logistics of professionals for both Summer and Winter Games. NEWS
