The 2023 Rugby World Cup, one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year, will take place from September 8 to October 28, 2023. However, this competition is facing a major problem in terms of accommodation in some of its host cities.
Marseille, in particular, is facing a significant increase in accommodation prices, reaching levels 50% higher than normal. Hotel supply is limited, with only 7,600 rooms available in Marseille, while the Rugby World Cup is expected to attract around 300,000 people to the city over the period. The city will have the honour of hosting several matches, including four group games and two quarter-finals.
VPI will be assisting its clients in all the competition cities with accommodation and transportation. NEWS
