Spread out across 20,000 square kilometers in Northern Italy, the 2026 Games will cover the largest area in the history.of the Winter Olympics.

On the occasion of the WBM (World Broadcasters Meeting) in March 2024, VPI flew and drove over to Italy to tour the future competition venues.

From the Lombardy region (Milan and Valtellina) to the peaks of the Venetia region (Cortina d’Ampezzo and Verona), our agents assessed first-hand the issue of the shortage of rooms.

VPI visited numerous lodging facilities to offer alternative and complimentary solutions to the organizing committee.

For instance, VPI traveled to Dobbiaco/Tablach. Located in-beween Cortina d’Ampezzo and Anterselva and served by regular shuttles, the city can make for a convenient hub for professionals covering competitions as diverse as biathlon, women’s alpine skiing and curling.
